Terms and Conditions

1. By booking with us you agree to accept Cliff Lodge Guest House's Terms and Conditions.
2. A non-refundable deposit of 1 nights stay per person is required to secure your room.
3. Once a provisional booking has been made it will be held for 9 days, by which time we need to receive your deposit for the booking to be confirmed. Otherwise, your booking will be cancelled and the room will be re-sold.
4. The final balance must be paid ON ARRIVAL, by cash or cheque, for all nights previously booked, unless notified before your arrival. If you leave early no refunds are given.
5. No minimum number of nights is required, EXCEPT for Easter and August Bank Holiday weekend, when a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
6. Please report any problems with your room to us as soon as possible.
7. Kevin and Sue have the right to terminate your stay without a refund if you or any member of your party exhibits any unacceptable behaviour in the guest house, which may cause offence to the management, staff or guests.
8. If you bring your own drinks onto the premises please do not ask us to provide glasses, chill, or provide openers for anything, as we do have a licence and sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
9. Any damages or breakages need to be paid by you before you leave.
10. Theft of any items from your room or the guest house will need to be paid for by you; if not, then this may lead to legal action against you.
11. Anyone found to have been smoking in the building will be asked to leave immdeiately - with no refund.
12. No refund will be given for any meal that is not taken and has been paid for.
13. If an evening meal is booked then it must be paid for in full each day, even if not taken.
14. Children in a cot or under 2 yrs who are staying free are NOT entitled to a cooked breakfast, but are entitled to cereal and toast.
15. Towels that are supplied in the room are for use only in the guest house and are not to be taken out of the guest house for any other use.
16. Although we will do our utmost to ensure that your stay is enjoyable and comfortable, sometimes events can happen that are out of our control for which we will not be held responsible for.
17. The room must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure, unless previously arranged with us; otherwise we have the right to charge you half the daily rate.
